Magnet Recovery and Cycling:
18:37 - Cycling left (electron arm) Q2 and Q3.
18:48 - Cycling of left Q2 and Q3 completed.
18:50 - Begin cycling of right (hadron arm) Q2 and Q3.
Left arm dipole momentum too low (1.44389 GeV/c); has been at this value for over an hour.
18:57 - Cycling of right Q2 and Q3 finished.
18:58 - Changed Left arm momentum to 1.45000; no change in dipole.
Changed to 1.4000; dipole current and momentum changed.
Reset momentum to 1.45500; dipole ramping.
19:01 - Dipole (left arm) stuck at 1.44338 GeV/c (483.77A) again. Calling J. P. about the magnet.
19:05 - We decided to set the current of the left dipole to reach the desired momentum of 1.4550 GeV/c. We set the current to 484.0 A, 486.0 A, and 487.0 A; all were too low. We then set the current to 487.5 A, and the momentum overshot the desired value. We then set the current to 487.2 A. Still too high. The current was set to 487.1A, which gave us a reading of 1.45493GeV/c and 487.75A. This was the final setting.
19:14 - Began re-cycling of Q2 and Q3 in left (electron) arm.
19:24 - Finished cycling of left Q2 and Q3.
19:30 - Magnets seem happy.
