    keyword=Analysis dependence on 2D PID cut

    Here the raw asymmetries from quasi offline analysis are plotted vs. 2D PID cut in pion rejectors and shower/preshower.

    A cut in cherenkov adc_sum_t has been used in this analysis, (300, 10000) for both arms, which has > 99.8% pion rejection efficiency.

    Figure 1: left arm
    Figure 2: right arm

    Top: Longitudinal raw asymmetry vs. 2D cut in pion rejectors (or shower/preshower). Horizontal axis is the cut in 1st layer pion rejector (or preshower) related to each 2D cut. Four configurations of beam and target half waveplate are plotted;

    Bottom: Same thing for transverse raw asymmetry. Two configurations of beam half waveplate are plotted;

    Present conclusion:
    Quasi offline analysis is not sensitive to 2D PID cuts in pion rejectors (or shower/preshower). Will keep the original 2D cuts.
