    keyword=Re: Scaler gate time (again)

    Sorry, I messed up a bit on my plot in halog 65639 (had to cast "int" to "double"),
    but the qualitative conclusions didn't change much. I hope.
    Top left: Time asymmetry for runs 1455 to 1939. Top right: ratio of charge asy
    to time asy, peaks at 1.0. Bottom right: time asy for R-arm. Note, it is also not
    zero (but also not a delta fcn as my incorrect previous entry). Avg about 41 ppm.
    Bottom right: correlation of L-arm and R-arm CURRENT asymmetry is good,
    i.e. we normalize to time. This is from end-of-run summary data, but the beam
    trips probably affect the 2 spectrometers similarly. The avg diff is 6 +/- 71 ppm
    and most asymmetries less than 1000 ppm. Conclusion so far: Even though BOTH arms have a
    gate time difference for 2 helicities, it can be normalized out. In 5 minutes (the
    mean time between trips), the bit resolution of the 1024 Hz clock is 3 ppm.
