    Followups:

    keyword=time diff (L-R) spectrometer

    People have noticed a difference in run time between
    L and R spectrometers (typically 3 seconds, usually L bigger).
    One worries about a miscounting, a mis-gating,
    incorrect readout of scalers at the end of run, etc.
    Tonight we did some short runs 2301-7 while waiting
    for beam. In 3 of the 7 runs the L and R times were identical.
    I think for these we waited a long time to start parity DAQ (?)
    In runs with nonzero difference, the diff was observed during
    the run. Looks like the gating and final readout were correct,
    and the time diff arises at start of run, perhaps because of
    slow RunStart by spectrometer (the gate is ``and'' of spectr.
    gate with parity inhibit). Will investigate more next time.
