    4am ~ 7am, laser alignment for Shapiro, (JP, Xiaochao). Keep the original setup, e.g., Coherent #5, #6, #7 for normal longitudinal pumping, Coherent #3 for additional longitudinal pumping; Coherent #1, #2 and #4 for transverse pumping.

    Half waveplates have been aligned for transverse lasers;

    7am ~ 7:40am, put new EPR photodiode in, but only got 12mV with 3 long. lasers on, check alignment, only very weak laser light reached the photodiode (and the lens right before it).

    3pm ~ 6:30pm, opened two of the light tubes (with help from Todd and Xiaofeng), adjusted the lenses, as well as the mirror on the top, achieved ~120mV signal at the end of tubes.

    6:30pm~7:30pm, found connector to EPR RF coil was broken. Kevin and Todd did a few tests and fixed the connector. Scanned by hand, found +/- 20 uV D2 signal from lock-in amplifier with RF 15.0V. From scope the RF field is weaker than the field for Tilghman/Gore. Tried lock-in and AFP, works fine, polarization is about 8%.

    7:30~8:00pm, sealed light tubes, ready for beam.
