    keyword=Shift summary

Begin shift with running half wave plate out
12C target in for false asymmetry checks

9:20 Couldn't end run 21548 (right spect.), after restarting run control
(apparently OK) 21549 wouldn't start, but no error message. Restarted
run control and run 21550 going OK.

    10:00 end carbon runs

Turn off raster, move down 2 mm in y
10:05 Raster on, lower current to 2 uA

    10:20 Changed to reference cell
11:00 beam back now, MCC had trouble with new ramp program
11:20 Checked run 2555, target cell ends clearly visible, with
very clean spectrum, few events in between

Changing momentum to 1.195 (Quads cycled)

11:40 ready to run, requested beam at 5 uA, beam at (0,-2)
11:48 beam back at 5uA, reference cell empty
11:55 request to go to 10 uA
12:15 end run 2556,21556 stop beam
begin filling with nitrogen at 3 atm - gas pressure 33 psig
12:20 request 10 uA, beam back at 12:23
12:26 running again with prescale at 2,1,2,1 for t1,2,3,4
12:45 end run, go to 6 atm - 74 psig, beam lowered at 5 uA
    12:48 running again
    13:06 end, change to 9 atm - 114 psig
    13:10 begin running again
    13:30 end, go to 12 C target
13:48 12C run, beam back to (0,0) with raster off (actual reading (-.24,.15))
14:10 called for entry, will stop running when radcon gets here
    14:20 radcon here, beam off
14:55 out of hall, scaler problem fixed (details in separate entry)
Going to BeO first, moved beam to (0,-2), checked raster, all OK
    15:12 Going to 3He at 3 atm - gas pressure 28 psig
We note that 3He pressure has dropped from an initial 29 to 27 psig
in 20 minutes. Run 21566 started at 27 psig (at 15:25).
Ended at 15:48 pressure 25 psig.
15:46 start run 21567 starting at 75 psig
16:00 shift ends with running 3He
16:05 end of run 21567, pressure now 68 psig
