keyword=N2 contamination of the He3 ref cell.The plots shows the N2 contamination (blue) under the He3 elastic peak (red) for a ref. cell run at 27 psia. The first plot is for left arm and second for right.
The contamination is about 25%. For the 72 psia run it is about 7% and for 111 psia it is about 5%.
I don't know why the second N2 peak is not showing on the He3 run for the left arm while it shows for the N2 and for both N2 and He3 on the right arm.
The mismatch between the blue line and the red line may come from the fact that the target radiation length is different for ref cell filled with N2 and ref cell filled with He3
