    keyword=charge asymmetry feedback results

    During the day shift, the fig 1 below shows how well the charge
    asymmetry was controlled using the "fast" feedback which is applied
    after each 10 minute "minirun". Before we started, the beam had been
    off for a few hours, the asymmetry was +366 ppm. This converged in
    about 1/2 hour and remained below 100 ppm throughout the shift.
    The only minor problem now is that the last feedback, at the end of a run,
    is never applied. The bug is understood and will be fixed by A. Vacheret.
    It typically affects only the last 5 minutes of a long run, but if the run is
    shorter than one "minirun" (10 minutes) no feedback is applied.
