keyword=right arm preshower/shower calibrationsDuring the switch from the A1n to g2n , the pedestals of ADCs from the right arm preshower/shower counters are shifted by 18-20 channels.
As shown in fig1. the center of (e-p)/p plot is 0.07288, instead of zero as we expected. The plot is from run21546 ( BeO/carbon , quasi-elastic run).
After calibration, the center of (e-p)/p is back to zero ( 0.005955), as shown in Fig2, However, the resolution does not seem to improve much, from 0.0745 to 0.0739.
During g2's running, run 21723, 21774, and 21853 from different running conditions were checked, the pedestals seem to be stable. The new parameter file "shower_calib.dat.g2" is located at:/adaql1/home/adaq/e97103/espace.
