    08:00 Beam available only with empty target, as dump ion chambers trip on
    waterfall target. EREA_Z spectrum did not show typical endcap + waterfall
    peaks. Access to hall allowed rebooting the target lifter computer.
    Position readout of waterfall now looks correct and the target position
    was far enough off to perhaps put the bottom of the enclosure in the beam path. Rates and EREA_Z spectrum are now back to normal. It's still a mystery why the ion chamber rates steadily increased when the target lifter was not being activated.

    10:35 Resume acquisition with Run 1418 (bad run - beam off center).

    10:38 We notice two spots on 1H00B cross-hair view of "Beam Position onTarget".
    MCC is investigating.

    10:55 MCC is cleaning up some orbits. Beam expected in 10 minutes. IOC reboot
    fixes "two-spot" problem.
