Day Shift Summary 11/13/01
08:00 MCC takes beam away for quality checks
08:07 1C12 OTR is put IN
08:22 MCC crew chief reports that beam bleed through needs to be studied
given possible damage from irradiating equipment, Beam ETA: 10:00
09:30 Take advantage of beam down to replace ROC14 (by Bob Michaels)
09:50 Finished replacing ROC14 - waiting for beam.
10:20 100 uA of nicely centered beam. Left VDC currents up to -18 uA, so will
sit here rather than push to 120 uA. Start acquisition, resuming
Kin H+ with Run 2122. Question: if these peaks in VDC "current" readout
are just noise and do not reflect the actual chamber current (which should
be fairly constant) why not increase the beam current to 120uA? Wendy
would like to wait until 4PM to push the issue.
12:35 Beam off for QE checks
12:42 Beam back
15:10 Start Run 2126, but ROC 14 not responding; rebooted ROC 14 and restart
acquisition with Run 2127.
--> Essentially smooth data taking at 100 uA since 10:20.
--> There is no clear evidence of the double peaks seen earlier in the
Electron arm S1 TDC spectra (see Halogs 77123, 77136 and 77147).
--> Total uA-hrs for Kin H+ at this time: 2092 at 15:05 (through Run 2125).
(will switch to I+ after reaching 2400).
