This entry is a followup to: 3373
keyword=Right arm y-target distribution.Entry 3373 showed the y-target distirbution for the electron arm, and it was almost entirely from the endcaps. The suspision was that it was mostly pi- coming from the endcaps. The coin ntuple now includes the gas cerenkov signal and after cutting out cersum_R=0 (and cersum_R=1.e15) events to isolate electrons, we see a nice normal y-target distribution (figure 1). The detector kumacs will still show both the pions and electrons so there will still be mostly endcap events, but there is nothing to worry about.
