keyword=Collimator punch throughThe figure shows the right arm ph_tg and th_tg distributions, with and without a 2D cut on X_SIEVE vs. Y_SIEVE for Run 3016. The cut ph_tg spectrum still shows significant tails but substantially less than without the cut. So perhaps most of these tails are due to collimator punch-through. But then again, I said earlier that perhaps it was due to pion decay. I think punch-through is more likely. If so, we might see a bump in the coincidence missing energy spectrum from the degraded proton energy for events outside the sieve cut. However, as the sieve variables are not in the coincidence Ntuple and as a chain of a large # of Ntuples would be needed, I defer this analysis until later.
