    keyword=NMR: 38.1 %

    I performed an NMR with and without the gradient coils on. The first measurement was done with both gradient coils set to 5 Amps. Then the gradient coils were turned off. The good news is that the polarization is still high at 38.1 % from the second measurement. Now the gradient coils are off. It should be noted that unless the polarization is below ~ 38 %, EPR measurements should not be done, since EPR appears to trigger masing above 40 % polarization. Usually with beam on the polarization is below 40 %, so it should not be a problem. But we have had little beam today on target, so the polarization has been increasing. Once a NMR measurement has been made, then it will be decided if a EPR measurement will be done.
