    keyword=Gas cherenkov PID performance

    I used run #1406 to check the PID performance of the right arm. The gas cherenkov spectrum that we worried about last evening is solved by adding one focal plane X cut. See the nice separation between single and multiple photo-electron peaks in the first panel.

    I also checked the x_fp dependence of gas cherenkov adc_sum and found that the mirrors on the negative x_fp edge show a little worse than other channels. See the plots in the second panel below. Top one is ADC_sum vs. x_fp for y_fp>0 and bottom one is for y_fp<0.

    So the Gas cherenkov detector is working fine. Calibration and mirror performance need to be checked but it is not crucial for on-line analysis.
