keyword=Beam halo study commentsAlthough it's hard to see effect due to statistical fluctuations, there seems some effect of halo. The attached plot shows "normalized" yield from two runs 20474 and 20480 takin on 1/22. These two runs correspond to the bottom two plots in entry 92930. The red curve is for run 20474 (4x4 raster, 5 pass) and blue for run 20480 (prebuncher off etc for least halo). In general, the normalized yield has decreased when the prebuncher was off. Again, it's not conclusive due to poor statistics.
