    Shift summary:

    Regular Shift workers: O. Hanson, D. Higinbotham, J. P. Chen
    (GEn folks: Bogdan, Bodo, Kathy, Albert, Slava)

    This shift is for GEn test while the polarized He3 target pumping up after
    replace ruputured cell Duke with a new cell Exudos.

    Shift starts with beam tuning. CW beam by ~ 8:30.
    8:30-9:10 check beam quality, OTR, Harp scan, BeO, BPM and raster check.
    Target moved to from EMPTY to BeO during the check.
    9:10 moved to EMPTY for test neutron detector background.
    12 uA, background too high, reduced to 5 uA, background is still high.
    (Will need shielding from the beam dump in the future, first lesson learned from
    this test).
    Test continues with varing threshold of the detectors.
    Beam study was scheduled from 10-12. Bogdan discussed with Kent, with PD's
    agreement, the Beam study is postponed to around 11 am.
    10:35 Finished EMPTY (no target)study, moved to Reference cell with no
    gas in (Empty cell).
    10:45-11:00 beam off, RF problem.
    10:55 moved target to BeO/12C position.
    11:15 stop beam for controlled access. Bodo needed access to switch DAQ system.
    We will also change the oven RTD.
    Beam Study will be from now (11:15) to 13:15.
