    keyword=Hall Work

    At around midnight, the GEn crew entered the hall to move the neutron detector
    closer to the beamline with help from Gary and Todd, the techs on call.
    Also, Bodo restored the standard trigger.
    At 1:00, Vince,Patricia and I entered the hall to move the spectrometers
    to 25 degree and found that the hand written calibration strip used for the
    left arm camera had fallen off of the vernier strip.
    Its not known how long this was off. It was possibly loose for some time.

    Gary reattached the strip but for future reference the raw numbers on the vernier
    scale correspond to the following:
    300 = -10
    310 = 0
    320 = +10

    Note: I installed the floor brakes at about 30 or 35 degrees. They must be
    removed before the spectrometers are moved again.

    Around 2:30 all GEn work and spectrometer movent was complete.
    All exited except for Vince who needed to realign the epr optical fiber.
    His work was completed around 3:30. In the mean time, Patricia performed
    an initial NMR/EPR calibration.

    The left arm dipole mysteriously disengaged at around 3:00am. We were
    able to re-engage remotely.

    We are now about to begin 3GeV data taking.
