keyword=septum dump, T1/T3 rates, part 2earlier in the shift, we noticed that our rates were scaling strangely with beam current 103258. this coincided with when MCC started their HARP scans. later on at around 0420, we noticed that the beam current was about 1.5 microA, but both the T1 and T3 rates were fluctuating wildly from 500 HZ to 30KHz. This actually coincided with some slight septum heating 10 & 25 min before the dump. see Fig 1. the light green is the beam current on a scale from 0 to 11 microA. the blue is the Coil temp on a scale from 4 to 7K.
