    At least at this setting,but probably at most settings, no background correction is necessary in calculating the CODA events desired. Even though the empty cell counting rate is (here) 25% of the full cell
    counting rate, few of the empty cell counts fall within the cut. Thus the counts within the cut for the full target are essentially all good. Apart from polarization correction factors, then, the ratio of total CODA counts/good CODA counts with the full cell is the factor which multiplies the goal. See KIN 8.15 run sheet for actual numbers.
