During the controlled access, I attempted to fix the EPR optics system.  Before the access, I thought that the coupler my need realignment, but when I opened the scattering chamber, I could see that the coupler appeared to be where it was.  When I attempted to move the coupler, Jaideep said he could see no change in the signal from the photodiode.

I then suspected that the problem could be due to the photodiode or fiber.  The photodiode has been used since Duality, and the fiber has been used since the first run period of saGDH.  So it is possible either or both are bad.  However during the target tests yesterday, I performed 10 EPR's and all looked great.  So I am a little surprised that if failed so suddenly.  

During a controlled access tomorrow, I will trouble shoot the problem further.  Either way, I believe it would be a good idea to replace the photodiode and the fiber.
