    keyword=Attempting Septum Training

    08:40 Set Septum current to 500A for training.
    09:15 Entered Hall A to change Septum ramp voltage.
    Septum ramp voltage = 0.115 V

    During the controlled access, I found the Septum PC to be inoperable. Usually as soon as you touch the Keyboard, the login screen shows up, but this time the screen remained blank. I attempted to get in touch with Paul Brindza and Mark Stevens, but I was unable to do so. Eventually Ed Folts called back and came to the Hall to look at the PC. He suggested to reboot the computer, but when I rebooted, the computer asked for a boot disk.

    Paul eventually called back and suggested that I call Mike from Lynchburg. However I only got his voice message saying he was out of the office for the day. We attempted to find a boot disk, but was unable to locate one.

    In the past, if the ramp voltage is not increased the Septum will eventually stop in the ramp up. I will continue with the ramp and if the current continues to increase then it will eventually quench. If it does not, we will just ramp it back down.
