keyword=Reactz SpectraFigure 1 shows the Reactz spectrum for Run # 4176, the "Mult-foil" 12C run, during the lifting motor problem. Figure 2 shows the Reactz spectrum for Run # 4181, a Empty target run with raster on, after the lifting motor positions were fixed. Notice that the two spectra are similar. The rate for both runs was also similar. For Run # 4176, the rate was 970 Hz from the end of run file at a beam current of 6.5uA. The rate for Run # 4181 was 600 Hz at a beam current of 3.8uA. If you take the ratio of the currents and the rates, the ratio is between 1.6 and 1.7 for the ratio and rates. So this supports my calculation that Run #4176 the "Multi-foil" run was actually at a position where no target exists, except the Helium-4 background. Thankfully the incorrect long foil position did not let the FSD clear, so we did not have beam on the 3He target.
