The day yesterday was lost due to a small mistake in the machine 5pass set up. So they had to redo it overnight. We haven't seen beam yet, as of 9am.
Program for the day:
- beam should be here at around 10-11am.
- we do first beam check (BeO, target, harpscan, OTR, septum steering correction, see run plan at http://hallaweb.jlab.org/experiment/E04-012/rp_beamline.html). This is ABU, unless they are tuning because we are not satisfied with the profile.
- MCC takes the beam back for RF balancing, which should last ~2-3 hours. 100muA will be sent to the beam dump at that time, with no target. This is BNA.
- raster check on BeO (we want 2mm x 2mm) (ABU)
- take LH2 15cm data (see run plane at http://hallaweb.jlab.org/experiment/E04-012/rp_neutron.html) (ABU)
ABU counting starts at 9am (8-9 is ACC).
The tune through the Compton chicane has been canceled due to delays. We might do it when coming back after beam studies on Tuesday.
The Happex beam studies have been canceled. It remains to be seen whether they will be done on Tuesday or after teh experiment (it affects Hall B also).
