keyword=TECH right septum upper coil temp = 7.45K
below is the right septum strip chart for the last 24 hrs from 0524 and back.
the blue curve is the upper coil temp.
fig 1 is the same as fig 2 except for the scale of the upper coil temp.
fig 1 scale is 6.0 to 8.0K.
fig 2 scale is 6.8 to 7.6K.
the temp tracks that BCM (light green at bottom) very well.
however, after yesterdays HAPPEX tests at 40 µA, the upper coil temp went up to about 7.45 ± 0.05 K and has stayed there. note that there also seemed to be a delay for this increase in temp, so maybe there really is no correlation. Rob has pointed out that the beam tune, beam position, and beam size after the HAPPEX tests might be different and could be causing the slightly elevated right septum upper coil temp. either way, we should keep a close eye on this. note that the LHe level in the right septum (light brown curve 3/4 of the way up from the bottom) has been stable at 87%.
