Bob suggested investigating the new T7 efficiency, which has been updated to reduce left-arm pions (Aerogel) and enhance right-arm electrons (Gas Cerenkov).

The number of events passing the following software cuts (chosen to recreate T7 types) was found to be 21,678:
    abs(ctime)<6
    R.cer.asum_c>500
    L.a1.asum_c<100

The number of those events which were actually labeled T7 was 13,127, corresponding to a trigger efficiency of around 61%.

If, in addition, a cut was placed to reduce the discrepancy observed at low values of L.a1.asum_c (>2), the efficiency was found to be around 88%.

Further investigations of the reasons behind this efficiency discrepancy at low aerogel sum values are needed.
