    keyword=T7 efficiency, aerogel thresholds

    My own analysis of T7 efficiency is that it is 90 +/- 10 %.
    Sorry I don't have it better than 10% yet. But even if it is 80%
    I think it is worth running this way, and keep a good amount of
    the unbiased T5 to sort out the efficiency later.

    There are 2 ingredients in this trigger: thresholds and timing.
    We assume the timing is not screwed up (unluckily that was a problem
    in January). To examine the quality of Aerogel threshold cut and
    seperate this from the timing issue, it is helpful to use the TDCs
    from A1-sum and A2-sum which have the exact same signal as what
    feeds into the trigger logic. A hit in this TDC means you have a
    signal above threshold. No hit means it is below threshold. Fig 1
    shows A1 sum and A2 sum for requirement of TDC or no TDC.

    The TDCs are:
    A1sum roc3 slot 4 chan 78
    A2sum roc3 slot 4 chan 79
