keyword=Profile Scanner and Spect DAQ runs

I was doing a scan during a run where there was no beam and I noticed a small change in signal in the middle of the drift chamber region probably caused by activation. I thought it might be a good idea to start the Spectrometer DAQ and take a few runs moving the position around and watching the differences in rate. The run data itself may be useless but I saw changes in rate due to position as follows:

    Run 1208-junk
    Run 1209-junk
    Run 1210:
    at position (15,28)
    R: 8.74kHz
    L: 7.58kHz

    at position (2,28)
    R: 9.63kHz
    L: 9.47kHz

    at position (30,28)
    R: 8.25kHz
    L: 7.25kHz

    Run 1211
    at position (18,30)
    R: 8.54kHz
    L: 7.42kHz

    at position (2,30)
    R: 9.62kHz
    L: 9.26kHz

This may be misleading because the closer the scanners are to (0,something) the more the wires bend, which may cause an increase in noise...

Plot of Rate for left and right versus distance from (0,0) Thanks to Hachemi
