keyword=How to Compare Prof. ScansI wrote an extremely user friendly macro that allows anyone to
compare profile scans. After the run is finished being prompted you
can run it as follows:
ssh apar@adaql5
gopan
pan
.x macro/ScanComparison.C
It will ask you the following:
How many runs do you want to compare to the default run?(up to 4)

enter run number you want to compare against run 2560 (default)
2599
Do you want to see beautiful scan cuts as well as the 3D scan comparison?

This puts out 3 canvases with lots of information on them.
Note: At the beginning and end of each scan the scanners are at the
home position. This is our only constant, and shows up in the
comparison. Make sure the home positions of the two (up to 5) scans
are all on top of eachother. Then you know what you are looking at
is real. The home position is in the lower right corner of the 3D
scans below.
This macro also puts out longitudinal and transverse 2D profiles not
pictured here.
