Kirsten and I did the profile scanner linearity study during runs 2917 and 2918 and finished by doing an actual scan during run 2919. The first run we placed the detector in the elastic peak and MCC ramped the beam up in steps of 5uA. then we ended the run and began a new and scanned across the beam for each current setting. This took a total of 40min of beam time.
Note: The voltages on the PMT's were on all night to ensure that they would be "warmed up".
You can see the difference here on the Right slices. The black run is last Saturday, red is yesterday when the PMT's had only been turned on for 10 min, and the green is today with voltage on them all night.
