Followups:
keyword=scaler issues
First the good news. The scalers seem to be correctly gated by
the trigger supervisor (cleared at start of run, gated during and
between runs).
Next, the slightly bad news. The helicity-gated scalers on both
HRS are nonsense. They are cleared at start of run and will count
fine for awhile, then see sudden jumps in the counts on all channels.
Both Left and Right HRS affected (Left seems worse). One of the
more common jumps happens to be (2^24)-1 = 16777215. I looked at
the helicity signals upstairs, they seem fine. Don't know what is
wrong yet.
I realize SRC expt does not care about helicity but it's a sanity
check (the 2 helicities add up, etc). Note, the main normalization
scaler (seperate unit, not gated by helicity) looks ok.
