NOTE: Details of the data runs taken are given in the separate run summary halog.

00:00 Run 1679 (LD2 target) in progress from the previous shift; kinematic A5, with p=2.1617 GeV/c, L-HRS=14.7 degrees.

00:25 Changed target to the tilted carbon target.

01:05 Moved to liquid hydrogen target.

02:07 Finished the A5 kinematics with the liquid deuterium, liquid hydrogen and carbon targets. Asked MCC for an access to move the
BigBite spectrometer. Changing configuration in the meantime to get ready for kinematic B1.

02:48 Finished moving BigBite in the hall; the angle was set to slightly less than 99 degrees as we started to have interference between the BigBite stand and some hose-pipes at the pivot. This can be taken care of during the day. Switched on the veto bars in the neutron detector. Note, since we are calibrating the neutron detector now we have switched OFF the BigBite magnet.

03:05 Resume data taking with 2.5uA beam for neutron detector calibration.

03:45 Start trying to set the neutron detector gains by looking at the pedestal and peak value of each adc channel from run in the latest configuration.

05:30 MCC inform us that they have lost a power supply and are currently troubleshooting it.

05:50 MCC called to tell us that they are still having a problem with one of the box power supply and have contacted the engineer-on-call. They are not sure how long it will take to fix but the accelerator will be down until then. More information later hopefully.

07:00 Finished updating our neutron detector high voltage list and now waiting for beam in order to check out the new settings.

07:45 MCC restore beam to the hall and we are taknig 2.5uA beam and working on setting the gains for the neutron detector pmts.
