    keyword=SLI vs OTR beam sizes

    Results of the OTR vs. SLI beam-spot size test taken last night, as a function of beam current. The OTR was IN while the SLI measurement was done, so if it is upstream of the SLI it might impact the SLI's readout.

    The first plot is the x-size of the beam in mm (divide by 4m to get the energy spread), and the second the beam's y-size. The beam size reported by the OTR appears to be independent of the beam current, while the SLI is strongly current dependent. This suggests the camera for the SLI might be saturating at high currents.
