The RICH should be turned on at least 60 min prior to having beam back,
To do so:
a) increase methane gas flow back to 800 sccm (main RICH screen) b) verify that all 6 valves are in "reg flow" c) verify that radiator pressure is at ~9.6 Volts d) turn on the HV (CAEN Controls Screen), channel 16 (2120Volts) and channel 17 (400 Volts) it will take several minutes to ramp up, and 30 minutes before the HV is stable.
e) wait 30 minutes f) run coda in "richped" mode, collect 5000 - 10000 events (can be done with or without beam) g) after the run has ended, log into adaql1 as user a-onl go into the following directory: cd rich/getped and run make_copy_ped.sh to update the pedestal files. (you have to remember the run number of the pedestal run)
