In preparation for possible fun tonight, I modified the dithering script so 
that the default parameters are to pulse each coil once, lightly, and to not 
pulse energy.  The old script (which is still, by default, loaded) pauses the 
Hall A feedback, but does not pause the Hall C feedback, so this can be run 
tonight to characterize phase advance. This was done both in the code in the 
devices directory (which was then recompiled), and the setpoints on the running 
ioc.
