Although these plots aren't as interesting since Bob's plots show that
the feautures seen in the scanner are due to optics, I have included here
a couple of scanner contour plots calibrated to cm (not absolute - only
relative distance is accurate). Fig. 1 and 2 are the left and right
spectra for production conditions (run 5293). Fig. 3 and 4 are the left
and right spectra for the target density at 80% (run 5401). These plots
at least give an idea of the position of the peak/shoulder across the
focal plan and the width of the elastic peak for each arm. The vertical
axis is the transverse axis in the focal plane, the horizontal axis is
the dispersive axis, and the color corresponds to the amplitude.
