keyword=Shift Summary
The sweeper magnet turns out to be very efficient with the hydrogen target. We were able to increase the beam current up to 60uA. Septum temperature is difficult to read because of frequent RF trips. It's probably in the 7.5 -7.6 range at 60uA. Hence we have some margin to go higher but we'll keep running at this current for tonight.
Septum heating slope is about 0.02 degree/uA.
Target boiling is <= 170ppm at 60uA and fan speed=60Hz
Increasing the fan speed to 70 Hz reduces it down to 155ppm (see Bob's entry)

Run 5609 30uA, production style. Dithering disabled. Compton interaction region optimization.
16:39 - started run 5609
16:50 - beam gone for 10-15 minutes to fix Hall B problem.
17:10 - MCC called to say that there would be no beam for at least 20 min more.
17:39 - 30 uA of beam back in Hall A
17:55 - Compton interaction point tuning done
18:05 - MCC has viewers in, beam back in 10-15 minutes.
18:13 - 30 uA of beam back in Hall A
19:15 - request new raster setting 9x12
19:40 - lots of beam trips in the last 1/2 hour.
20:00 - request new raster setting 6x12
20:20 - scanner run
21:30 - go to 40 muA
21:45 - jt valve open so that we can go higher in beam current
22:10 - go to 50muA
23:00 - go to 60muA after having raised the trip limit on the ion chamber in the left dump
23:30 increase fan speed to 65Hz
23:45 increase fan speed to 70Hz
