keyword=Alignment checkUsing the Q2 run 2873 taken this evening, the alignment of the elastic peak on the HAPPEX detectors has been checked; it looks very good, with an ~2cm gap between the edge of the detectors' sensitive region (in the dispersive direction) and the edge of the elastic stripe.
Figure 1 shows the distribution of events in the L-HRS, and figure two is for the R-HRS. An explanation of the panels can be found in HALOG entry 156948.
Run 2873 was taken with momentum settings (for the Tools screen) of 3.1234 for the L-HRS, and 3.1126 GeV/c for the R-HRS. No changes are necessary.
