The 14x14 raster setting produces a 4x4 raster on target... pretty different from the 4x2 we've been living with.

Why is this better than before? At the beginning of the run, we couldn't get better than 2.5 mm on the vertical. Phase advance has recently been terrific, unless it has gotten lousy since Friday. Maybe things have just drifted into a better configuration.

I honestly don't know what the raster setting have been recently, but I don't know any reason why we shouldn't be maxing out the raster. After all, we are losing statistical precision due to boiling... and the raster helps this. The whiteboard may have a 14x11 setpoint recorded. Unless someone knows the reason for this, I think we should be sure to run this raster flat out (14x14).
