keyword=MCC called: confusion about ABU/BANUMCC called regarding our calculation of ABU/BANU from 2300 11/08/05 to 0700 11/09/05. I told him that my instructions were to calculate the relevant quantities in the following way:
(1) start with 8 hours
(2) subtract BANU
(3) subtract all "long" beam downs
(4) subtract 1 min for each beam trip
for last night i got:
2300:0000 14 trips, 2 min BANU
0000:0100 7 trips, 2 min BANU
0100:0200 17 trips, 2 min BANU
0200:0300 6 trips, 2 min BANU
0300:0400 6 trips, 1 min BANU, 9 min "long" down
0400:0500 13 trips, 1 min BANU
0500:0600 10 trips, 4 min BANU, 2 min "long" down
0600:0700 10 trips, 1 min BANU, 7 min "long" down
total 83 trips, 14 min BANU, 18 min "long down"
which gives me:
BNA = 1.62 hrs
BANU = 0.30 hrs
ABU = 6.08 hrs
i reported:
ABU = 6.00 hrs
BANU = 0.22 hrs
