    keyword=Removed F1TDC

    The GeN VME crate (ROC25) which contains the F1TDC's, was persistently getting exceeded word count DMA errors. This seemed to be consistently associated with slot 12. Power cycling the crate would sometimes make the problem go away, but it would always return, even if all the inputs to Slot 12 were removed.

    We removed TDC in slot 12. (It apparantly has a serial nubmer of "10N2LX"). The TDC in slot 18, which we are not using (because the Vetos have been moved to fastbus, was moved to slot 12. It's address switches were set to match the address that slot 12 had. The address for the TDC in slot 19 was also decremented, to fill the gap left by removing slot 18. The backplane distribution card plugged into the back side of Slot 18 was also removed. Things didn't work well with it plugged in.

    The F1TDCs now appear to be behaving properly. As a side benefit, the persistent resolution not locked errors have gone away.
