This was not the case in the other helicity state (the "hat" state). I tried at 11:30 to take an NMR-EPR calibration measurement, but could not get a good EPR. In about another hour or two from now, I will take another measurement, but this time, I will take the EPR first and follow with the NMR.
Polarization from the NMR was 23.72%, and I would like a calibration number at 30%, so I'm still on track for that measurement (probably around 6), but will take this sort of "trial measurement" to see if there is any strange behavior in going from EPR to NMR. In order to use this as a calibration, we need to understand our losses -- in each chamber -- due to NMR and EPR.
