    keyword=outgoing laser spectrum...

    As compared to the sample spectrum obtained at lower temperature taped to the target computer display, the relative behavior of the current outgoing laser spectrum is consistent with expectations having raised the temperature. The overall intensity is lower and the relative dip due to (vaporized) alkali metal absorption is more pronounced. Example screen capture included: "Master" is the current laser spectrum at an oven set point of 250 C with four lasers. "Overlay" is from 02/28/06 with only two lasers and a set point of 215 degrees C. Recommend that we start saving this spectrum and noting oven temperature about once per day or so. Instructions: on the target computer on the VNC display of the spectrum, click either File->Save->Sample and give the sample an appropriate name or just click on one of the "disk" icons in the toolbar which opens the same dialog. Appropriate naming convention for file would include 1) number of lasers on, 2) oven set temperature, 3) the date
