    This entry is a followup to: 167503

    keyword=BigBite magnet still in local mode -- control is on supply in Hall

    I think BigBite has been in "local control mode" (ie. front panel of BB power supply in the hall) since the 16th. See Halog entry 166948". I don't think the "Box Control" settings mean much right now. (So the current mis-match flag could be a red-herring since the supply doesn't know about the 710A 'set point' in the software.)

    I can't tell you if the 3.5A discrepancy is due to drift in the supply or a "sloppy" setting of the full_scale_current_percentage (should be 67.6190%) dialed into the BB supply in the hall. I doubt the fraction of a percent difference in current makes any different to the physics, but perhaps it indicates a pending issue with the supply...
