    keyword=checked fibers,laser power meansurement and alignment.

    With Hall in laser controlled access, we checked the five 75m fiber ends and five legs of 5-to-1 and cleaned them. Some have minor scratchs or spots. Some AR coatings became thin.
    Laser power meansurements were done in the hall after 75m fiber before the connection to the 5-to-1 fiber.
    Power meter background: -28mW
    Laser #1: 135mW(7A), 6.12W(15A), 19.3W(35A), 22.2W(40A);
    Laser #2: 213mW(7A), 8.22W(15A), 27.5W(35A);
    Laser #3: 82mW(7A), 7.79W(15A), 26.8W(35A);
    Duo-Laser #1: 960mW(7A), 9.2W(15A), 28.4W(35A);
    Duo-Laser #2: 930mW(7A), 8.66W(15A), 27.1W(35A);
    Note: Laser #1 has 25W at 40A.
    All other lasers are at full power (30W) with 35 A.
    So the loss through the 75m fiber is around 10%. They have not changed
    much from the last measurement.
    Checked Laser alignment. They look reasonable. Made minor adjustment on the top 6¨ mirror.
    Now with Ameya, we are checking the laser beam polarization.
