    Followups:

keyword=T8 'pedestal' trigger pulser added but pedestal collection NOT working

The 105 kHz 'pedestal' trigger pulser was plugged in to T8 in the trigger supervisor and into the associated scaler channel.

Note that T8 is hard-coded to have a prescale value of 210 in the TS crl code.

Right now datamon does NOT handle T8 correctly in its online calculation and produces a bogus deadtime if the (ignored) prescale value in 'prescale.dat' is non-zero.

So, leave ps8=0 in the prescale.dat file please (at least until someone corrects me or fixes datamon).

Runs 3291 and 3292 were taken prior to T8 being installed (datamon deadtime: 5%).

    Runs 3293, 3294 were taken with a non-zero ps8 entry in prescale.dat and had bogus datamon-computed deadtimes (63%)

Run 3295 has ps8=0 (datamon deadtime back to the 5% that it should be for this set-up).

Runs 3295--3300 had various permutations of 'pedestals=1000' or 'npeds=1000' added to the prescale.dat in an attempt to collect that many pedestals at the start of each run. From the code I think 'pedestals' is the correcct string, but I couldn't find a varient that would actually work...
