    keyword=Day shift summary

    7:49-8:50 - Run 3647. Production data @ 8 microAmp. Dead Time: ~13%

    T2: The beam "fell" few times during the run: ~7:55 for ~1min, ~8:15 for ~4 min, ~8:38 for 1 min, ~8:42 for 1 min.

    8:53 - Run 3648. Beam Aq is bad: 138+-35 ppm according to HAPPEX Feedback Monitor. (Should be less than 100 ppm). Beam should be down in few minutes. Beam Aq was fine for the previous run. Apparently bad run - beam was tripped many times.

    9:10 - Beam was turned off.

    9:20 - Asked for controlled access.

    9:26-9:36 - Take cosmics run (run3651) for Neutron Arm. ps1=1, ps2=50, thresholds set for cosmic data taking.

    9:30 - Stopped HAPPEX run 7217.

    9:39 - Start cosmic data run (run 3652) for BB. ps1=100000, ps2=1.

    10:05 - Alarm: genps1:2001 lost voltage (Neutron Arm).

    ~10:15 - Got permission for controlled access.

    ~10:30 - We noticed that the permission is for restricted access. Apparently there is an error which MCC are trying to fix. They still treat Hall A as under controlled access, but may have to treat it later as restricted access before closing the hall.

    11:40 - Stop cosmic run 3652. Alexander changed HVs on marker detector of the Neutron Arm.

    11:47-11:59 - NA cosmics run (3563). ps1=1, ps2=50

    12:00- BB cosmics run (3564). ps1=100000, ps2=1.

    12:00 - EPR meas. Target polarization: 55.6%

    14:00 - The hall area was sweeped, we have beam permit, but still no beam since MCC has troubles with some of their power supplies.
