Looking at the EPICS Archiver I see the argon gas supply was only interrupted for about 15 minutes around 11:00AM today. The gas supply was restored and has been steady since then. So, the effect on the wire chambers may be minimal. The dewar of liquid argon, which was new on friday, ran out on monday morning. We are presently running on cylinders of gas. We will go through a cylinder in about 1 day. The argon pressure reading on the "Tools" display will start around 2500psi and slowly drop till about 100psi, or so, at which point the system should switch to the second cylinder. The pressure should shoot up to about 2500psi and the cycle should repeat. All this should happen without any action required on the part of the people on shift.
