    Followups:

keyword=Controlled Access Not Needed--HRS-L magnets were fine.

We tried to trouble shoot the ioc communication problem over the phone
with Scot Scot Spiegel (Tech On-Call). We were unable to fully resolve
the problem over the phone and the decision was made for Scot to come in
because we probably needed to reset the ioc locally.

After Scot came in, we further investigated the communication problem
from the counting house. We discovered that the magnets appeared to be
OK (by replaying data and looking at the dipole camera). Scott tried
completely restarting the Hall A tools module (quit and restarted). This
brought the MEDM screen with the Hall A tools back. The HRS-L momentum
was reset, the NMR was switched back on, and the angle markings were
re-entered. When I left around 00:30 things were back to normal.

Thanks Scot! I made a note about completely restarting the Hall A tools
in the HALOG in the event of a loss of communication with the HRS'. I
misunderstood what Scot was trying to tell me about this while we were
talking about the problem over the phone.

Thus the controlled access was averted (although the ARM wasn't called
off soon enough) and the magnets were all just fine.
