    It would be a good idea to try to find the trigger efficiency.
    I haven't done it yet, but here is a check from run 1222, a typical
    e-p elastic run. See fig 1. Top left panel: the CODA event type
    is very well related to the evtypebits. So it almost isn't necessary
    to use the bits, but it is adviseable in general, especially if there
    are a lot of random coincidences. Also shown is the coinc. time
    on L-HRS and R-HRS, showing that the peak is well centered on
    randoms, and the EDT pulse is clearly identified by a flag in
    the datastream (D.edtpl and D.edtpr), and the TC measurements are
    correlated. Looks good to me. But you already knew that, I guess.

    I also looked at run 1223, a high-statistics run on end-caps (see
    fig 2 after cleanup). Everyone tells me the TDC has 50 psec per
    bit, but we should check it again just to be sure.
